FRIENDS OF THE SAUGATUCK WOMAN'S CLUB FUNDRAISER
Friends of the SWC partnered with Friends of the Felt Mansion on Dec. 27th.
A portion of the proceeds ($600.00) from the December 27 tour was donated to the Friends of the Saugatuck Woman’s Club for the building and installation of six storm windows for the club’s historic building in Saugatuck at the corner of Butler and Hoffman Streets.
The Friends of the Saugatuck Woman's Club also has been awarded $1000 from Coldwell Banker this January. We have been raising funds to have storm windows installed on all of the building's windows to help protect the building, make it more comfortable summer and winter, and save the club some costs on the energy bills. So far we have raised $5990 toward the project.
To increase awareness of the club and the building, Friends of the SWC had a coffee at 10 on Feb. 19 for a large portion of our community who are sponsors for non-profit events. There was also a wine & cheese party in March.
